Piper

Piper began dancing locally, at age 7, continuing on through her school and competitive team. She enjoyed dancing in the Sacramento Ballet’s production of the Nutcracker growing up and has trained in Ballet, Pointe, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, contemporary, tap, modern, acro, and musical theatre. Piper later studied dance at Cal State Fullerton and is versed in Classical Ballet, Cecchetti and Balanchine technique. She has taught at various studios in the L.A. and surrounding Sacramento areas and dances professionally with RAE Model and Talent Agency. Piper is extremely proud and excited to be an integral part of Première School of Dance.

Shauna

Dance is a passion that started at 3 years old for Shauna. She uses dance working with youth through inspiration using the mind/body connection and its ability to reframe, recenter, and redirect both mentally and physically. Shauna has studied ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, modern, tap, hip-hop, aero, hula, aerobic dance, and cheer. She enjoys helping others grow their confidence and skill level and most of all creating great memories through dance! She is thrilled when she gets to teach new trick moves to her Acro classes at Premiere.

Nikki

Nikki has been dancing since she was 5 years old. She has performance and choreography experience starting in high school and college, in mostly jazz and hip hop but has also studied tap and ballet.

She was also a competitive softball player and has coached all levels. Her enthusiastic ability to harness the attention and excitement of a group of young energetic dancers is unmatched, such as her Hip Hop class.

Laura

Laura has been dancing since age four. She is trained in all styles, including ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, and contemporary, with a dance minor from Santa Clara University. After college, Laura danced for the Golden State Warriors, followed by professional theater roles in No No Nanette, Singin’ In The Rain, and Cesar and Ruben. She also performed with a pro tap company in San Jose and trained with legendary dancers like Gregory Hines and Gracey Tune. Recently, Laura coached numerous competition teams to regional and national awards. Laura is really excited to tap with Premiere students.

Lisa

Lisa is a certified yoga teacher in Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin and Nidra yoga. In 2001, she took her first Ballet class and was immediately hooked! Yoga and ballet became natural complements to one another. The stretching feels great and it helps to calm and ground dancers. Lisa is excited to share her Ballet influenced Yoga practice with Premiere dancers and drop in yogi's.

Ryan

Ryan has been dancing and choreographing for 20 years. Some highlights of his career include placing 4th on the reality show Jabbawockeez: The Movement, choreographing the award-winning music video “Aaja Na Ferrari Mein”, and choreographing an advertisement for Apple. He aims for his classes to be fun and high energy where students can learn the fundamentals of hip hop movement and choreography. Ryan is thrilled to be a part of the team and loves when students get a move down in Hip Hop.

Nasya

Experience teaching students of all ages and abilities. Versatile and skilled in a variety of dance idioms and styles including tap, modern, ballet, liturgical, hip hop; specifically, voguing, waacking, pop and locking, and tutting as a teacher, performer and choreographer. Also, experienced and studied a variety of cultural dances including bachata, capoeira, samba, and dances celebrating Yoruba. Nasya loves sharing her centered knowledge with her hip hop and contemporary students and looks forward to teaching her new Jazz-Funk class.

Monica

Monica started dancing at age 11 and just never stopped! She has trained in, Ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and musical theatre. After competing in multiple genres, locally, for seven years, in California participating in conventions and dance competitions; later competing nationally, in Las Vegas. She has been teaching for 8 years and looks forward to continuing in sharing her love of dance at Premiere.

Leticia

Leticia has 12 years experience in technical/competitive dance. She trained in tap, Ballet/Pointe, jazz, acro, hip hop, Pom, Lyrical, musical theatre, and contemporary/modern. She is currently on the Sacramento State Dance Team performing at many athletic and community events. She is excited to work with Premiere tap dancers.

Angela

Angela has been dancing her entire life. She trained in a Ballet Company at a local studio for 3+ years, performed with the Antelope High School dance team and now performs with the Sacramento State Dance Team. She danced for the Sacramento Contemporary Dance Theater as well. Aside from dance, school is a priority and she is working on pursuing a career in nursing sciences. Angela is extremely excited to work with our Saturday morning classes.
